Residency at RAVI
Liège, Autumn 2025
During my residency at RAVI in Liège, I continued my research into textiles through compositions that are both figurative and abstract, playing with layers, patterns, fragments, and colour.
The works presented here are part of an ongoing process, a series of attempts, adjustments, and shifts. Slowness, repetition, manipulation, and the act of making all play an important role in these explorations. Each piece carries visible traces of this process.
I also experimented with casting tin, creating small objects that became integrated into my textile assemblages and subtly altered their perception. Inspired by clothing and other familiar forms, these objects introduce a different presence within the textile compositions, creating a dialogue between the softness of the fabric and the rigidity of the metal.
